Pedal & Park at the Indiana State Fair

You have fun! We'll watch your wheels!

The Indiana State Fair opens this week and runs from Aug. 7th-23rd this year. As has been the case the past few years, Pedal & Park is again offering free bike parking and security at their Monon station just south of the Monon entrance of the fairgrounds. On top of not having to wait in traffic and not having to find parking, you also get $1 off admission to the fair if you use Pedal & Park.

Here's a bit of info about Pedal & Park from their site:
Pedal & Park provides free parking for bicycles and rollerblades at public events. We do this to encourage use of non-motorized transportation alternatives, promote use of trails and greenways, dispense relevant recreational literature and raise funds for the partnering not-for-profit organizations. In the past 10 years, we have parked nearly 12,000 bikes.
Pedal & Park is made possible by volunteer support from CIBA, Bicycle Indiana, Indy Parks, and Greenways Foundation. To volunteer as a corral supervisor, call 317-255-0559.
