Near West Indy Trails Meeting!

Monday March 4th at 6 pm at the Hawthorne Community Center,  2440 W. Ohio Street

•  We will be planning the yearly calendar to complete a Near West work plan for the Bicycle Trails association
• We will review the maps created in 2012.
• We will be deciding on the Bicycle Round up event. 
• This is a very important meeting and your participation is needed!

What is this meeting about?

The Near West Indy Trails Association will bring residents together to commit to developing a plan of public
trails linking the Near West community to surrounding areas. Near West understands that bikes, walkability,
and good transit are keys to forming effective urban transportation. With that stated, Near West will host
monthly meetings to help promote active transportation, including transportation and recreational trail
building and safe routes for pedestrians and bicyclists.

This is a collaborative community effort between West Indy and Near West and every voice is important.
