Samaritan Ambulance has started placing EMS personnel on the Monon during the day and night. These good Samaritans are out assisting the patrons of the Monon and surrounding Broad Ripple areas.

In response to emails sent to both INDYCOG and Bicycle Garage Indy (BGI) expressing concerns about the implementation and design of the bike lanes on Capitol Ave, Illinois Street and Broad Ripple Ave, our organizations decided to develop an analysis of these new bicycle lanes.

I'm sure we've all seen it or experienced it a time or 10 here in Indy. Walking down the sidewalk (when there is one available) and someone either comes at you on a bike, or brushes past you from behind on a bike. Some go fast, some go slow but the fact that they are cycling ON THE SIDEWALK is the point I wish to examine with this post.
